What have your learned about style from the men in your family? Last summer I mentioned to my father that I wanted to learn how to tie a bow-tie. He took me upstairs to see a treasure trove of beautiful bow-ties in cotton and silk that I’d never seen him wear, and taught me how to tie one that same evening. Now I wear one every other day.
